Named after the creator, Mike, four most frequent posters, Brittany, Jason, Anna, Sarah and newest member Dorothy. archives Thursday, April 24, 2008 Well, I survived three weeks of Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape training. 3 weeks completely isolated from the outside world sucked, but at least it's over. Now I'm just trying to recover from some poison ivy. I've been craving a motorcycle lately; partly because it seems like 1/2 the military population owns one, and also because gas is up to $3.40ish on post here, and I'm sure it's even worse elsewhere. Little 250cc cycles can get up to 80mpg, which would be pretty sweet. I'm almost done with my training here, and I found out that I will be stationed at Ft Bragg, NC for my first post. I'm pretty excited to be part of the famous 82nd Airborne. We will see how it goes. A California trip still isn't in the cards in the forseable future, but I know I'll be back eventually.
