Named after the creator, Mike, four most frequent posters, Brittany, Jason, Anna, Sarah and newest member Dorothy. archives Thursday, March 27, 2008 Hello East Coast! I'm in Boston! posted by Anonymous 2:28 PM Friday, March 21, 2008 So Anna, Julia, Julia's friend Jason and I finally ended up playing the first chapter of my RPG Chronicle. Titled: The Shard. I think it went very well. A lot of fun was had. I played very fast and loose with the rules to keep things moving at a very brisk pace. What can I say I'm lazy. But it's so much more fun to move the story forward than to get into a long dice struggle. For me anyways. Julia's boyfriend Nathan will join us two weeks from now but the important thing is I think the players were genuinely interested in seeing what happens next. Which is all I care about. Hope things are going well for you two. posted by Mikael, Shady, God 1:57 AM Saturday, March 01, 2008 Its nice to hear about you boys. What is going on in my life? A lot, actually. I'm making all sorts of changes. I've come to the conclusion that I may never graduate college, even though I've been going and I've been a good student the entire time because California's State schools just don't have the staff to teach all of the students. I'm going part time for the second semester in a row, not out of choice, because there simply isn't any classes available to take. So, I'm going to commit to being a part time student and I'm going to start working full time at the bank in order to make money for the next big chapter in my life... I'm moving out on my own. My own place. No roommates. No sharing of kitchens or bathroom. Just me and my cat (hopefully). I've been looking for places since January, but I'm probably not moving until July (unless something I can't pass up comes along). Moving out does bring my relationship into question, since Kenny and I have been living together for three years and he's of the mind that if I live too far away (out of Fremont area) that he won't want to make the effort to see me. We've been having other problems and I think in the end, we'll end up friends. I'm not really sad about it anymore. Other big news...I'm going to the east coast for the first time! I'm flying to Boston for a week at the end of March to just get away from everything and everyone I know. I'm staying with a friend there and I really just can't wait. Video games...I have to agree with Mike - Mass Effect is incredible. Another really interesting game is Assassins Creed (even the loading screen is fun!). Right now the roommates are all playing Rock Band, but they have Game Fly, so I see new games all the time. I'm not currently playing anything and since I quit WoW a year ago, I've been reading and watching a lot of movies. Netflix is my latest fun thing. Really though, not a lot is happening in my daily life. Just the future stuff. posted by Anonymous 7:23 PM |
