I'm worried that war with Iran is on the horizon. It looks like I'm going to be busy for the next 7 years. Luckily, I've read that using a ground force in Iran would be prohibitivly difficult, mostly because of terrain and the inability to get the ground force into the country, so it would be mostly an air war. Would an air war include Army aviation or be limited to Air Force and Navy jets, I don't know.

Okay, so Blogger is lame. I've been locked out for weeks now because it forced to me upgrade to *new* google blogger. GRR.

Now I'll read and catch up.

I finished season three of Angel last night. W. T. F.? What a lame season closer. But at least I don't have to hate Cordelia.

So a few days ago I finally got a DVD drive for my computer, and was able to install Oblivion which Mike so kindly gave me months ago. Unfortunatly, even on the lowest graphical settings, the game ran unplayably slow. I realized that I haven't upgraded my processor for about 3 years or more. Now I'm faced with several options. First, I can upgrade my processor for about $300. I'd also like to upgrade my monitor from my dinosaur 17" CRT to a 22" LCD, another $300. Not to mention that in a year, MAYBE 2, I'll have to spend hundreds more dollars upgrading. My alternative, is to buy an Xbox 360 for ~$500 (after initial games and controllers and Live) and be on the cutting edge of graphics for 3-4 years with no updates. Not to mention that we just bought a 42" LCD HDTV to play it on. I think my PC gaming days are numbered.
