Wow. Anna and I just finished a hell of a LOST Marathon. Almost 9 hours total about 8 of them straight through. I was impressed by her stamina. We ended on the second to last episode of Season 2. Just the incredible 2 hour finale to go. Looks like she'll be able to pick up with Season 3 on Oct. 4th same as everyone else. I like helping people.

I love wiping on Rag over and over. =/

[EDIT]
We downed Ragnaros for the first time last night! He dropped the Eye of Something (I don't pay attention unless my own loot drops). It's legendary! Orange gear. Crazy. I didn't bid on it though...not my sort of thing. But cool anyway.

I don't know what it is lately, but I've been out of is this week. All I want to do is veg out and not think. That's hard to do when you're working in a fast paced job and school is super intense.

Right now Kenny is playing this game that Tycho linked on Penny Arcade called Flow in Games or something. I guess it was someone's thesis or something. Crazy. Anyway, it's not terribly exciting, but it is mezmerizing. I can't stop looking at it, but it is too slow, so my head kinda aches watching. Maybe it's the eerie music or something.

I hate this funk. Maybe it's a chick thing.

Also, I've been on the Jason Seattle University tour. Only it was too cold for cheerleader outfits, and mine doesn't fit - considering I wore it 12 years ago and the skirt doesn't even fit around my thigh anymore. Geez.

Aww crap, Mike's an Emo kid. j/k :)
There's nothing wrong with liking cathartic music.

Here is a quote from an article I just read about Iraq:
"Shiite militias are encouraging children - some as young as 6 or 7 - to hurl stones and gasoline bombs at U.S. convoys, hoping to lure American troops into ambushes or provoke them into shooting back, U.S. troops say."

I can understand and accept using guerilla tactics against our military- I know I would. But using children, and hoping that that US shoots them to stir up the press is stepping over the line. The middle east is so fucked up- I can't believe we have to go babysit them.

So is it odd that I love any music that could be described as forlorn? The more forlorn the better I say. Depressing, sad music it all speaks to me. But I don't feel down and this is an all time thing so....?

Oh man. I just got done giving a campus tour to a group of highschool seniors, and I'm lusting hardcore after one of them. She's a cheerleader in her cheer outfit, short skirt and all that. Oh man.

Just wanted to say thanks to all the people that called or wrote me Happy Birthday, whether you did it early, on time or late. I went home for Sunday to see my Mom and sisters and gorged myself on seafood at the Cheesecake Factory where we all had dinner.

That's awesome J. Wow, the King's Citadel? You're in major league shit. There's nothing higher in Brelish law enforcement.

Anna overturned a dynasty and managed to call me first to wish me Happy Birthday. I was an idiot and had grown complacent in my previous string of victories. I planned to have a text ready to go at midnight and fire it off but while at work I got busy and thought I'll just do it as soon as I get off work until 12:14 when my phone starts vibrating. I think it's my Mom since I'm going home for today but I answer and Anna says Happy Birthday. Curses! Now no matter what she will have this one time and I will no longer be able to say I'm always faster. It was a dirty trick. She should have been in bed or about to go to bed by then like she always is at that time.
She also got me something and I'd appreciate someone telling me what it is. I don't like surprises so let me know if you know.

I blew an assistant manager's mind by guessing her middle name. She doesn't like her last name but I found out what it is. That was a awhile ago and today she pointed out she did not know my last name. I said that was too bad and she replied that at least I didn't know her middle name. To which I looked at her for a second, smiled and said, "Marie." I waited a second and enjoyed the priceless look on her face where she then kept repeating how the hell did you know that! I guessed. Don't tell.

I'll be going home today. I owe Sarah a birthday gift for the 5th. And I didn't see my Mom either when it was her birthday though we tried. Now worked out perfectly since my Mom is going back home tonight and back to Fremont tomorrow so I can hitch a ride.

Lol! Peter Wang, perfect. Well, my character is a halfling rogue named Nob. An orphan from the Last War, he grew up on the streets of Sharn. An accomplished thief, he dabbled in thieves guilds, but never really cared about amassing wealth- Nob was in burglary for the excitement. A clever lock, a deadly trap, a well guarded warehouse; all challenges meant to be overcome in Nob's eyes. He took to adventuring after being framed for a murder somehow on the Docks of Sharn. The DM actually made me roleplay that. I was hanging out on the docks looking for a purse to pick, when someone cried murder on a ship that just arrived. Seems the captain had been killed. I joined a crowd staring, when a warforged covered in spikes jumped off the ship and ran away, guards in chase. After he left, a witness pointed me out, and some guards came and arrested me. I was questioned but released, and told to stay in a specific inn that night. I went and paid for a room, but then hid across the street to see what happened. A group of guards came looking for me, but of course they didn't find me. THen the same warforged I had seen on the docks came and went into my room. I confronted him, and he told me that it had been a halfling who committed the murder, and he had thought to find him. They seemed to be in league, but he wouldn't tell me anything of this other halfling. I let him go, then followed him, hoping to find out something more. He wound up just curling up in a corner, seeming to shut down. After watching him long enough to be satisfied that he would stay there for a while, I left, inteding to find the captain who had interogated me and tell him what I had learned. On the way however, I discovered I was being followed. I turned into an alleyway and confronted the man with my crossbow, and it turned out he was in the King's Citadel. He had a warrant for my arrest, dead or alive. I decided to run, and through some expert tumble and hide checks lost him in a crowd. At this point I went and talked to an old fence I knew, to try and get some forged traveling papers so I could get the hell out of Sharn. He gave them to me, but gave me a quest to find out why House Cannith was sponsoring adventuring parties to go into the Mournland, leaving from the town Vathirond. On my way to the lightning rail, I had to go down a level, meaning I had to use a lift. There were two guards, and I knew they would be watching for me. I also knew that each guard carried a feather token which could allow one to float down from enormous heights. Using sleight of hand, I managed to pick the token off one of the guards, but he noticed me, so I jumped, token in hand. At the bottom, there were two more guards, so I threw flower in the face of the one below me, and again making good use of tumble and hide got lost in a crowd. After that I was able to leave Sharn on the lightning rail, and wound up in Vathirond, where I met the rest of the party.

I'll relate that story later. This part was actually the most fun so far, but everything has been pretty cool so far. I'll write about Vathirond soon.

Had a customer today named Peter Wang. I turned around and fiddled with the printer for a second so he wouldn't see my enormous grin.

I was just adding items to my amazon wishlist today...

Hey Jason, check out "Fatal Frame" for a creepy game that is fun to watch. That game is absorbing.

I'm feeling extremely overwhelmed with all my course work at school. I've never worked so hard outside of class before. I literally spend a few hours every night reading and researching. I have a paper due, 2 presentations, a research paper, and so much reading to do this weekend...

...but I'd rather run MC on Saturday, ZG on Sunday, and MC again on Monday.

Homework while I raid? Meh - I'm just healing anyway. =P

Holy Crap Brat. Holy Crap. You bragged in the right place. Jason and I know enough to be impressed.

I got a veneer for my left front tooth today and went to a concert in San Francisco with Anna. Spleen, BusDriver and Cocorosie were the performers. They were great so adventures all around today.

I want to try and go all out for Halloween this year. It's about time.

Congrats to you too J. That's really great news. I'd love to hear more details if you can spare the time and have the inclination. Character backstory. Fellow player's characters. Campaign arc thus far etc.

Gratz!! :) That's awesome. ZG is a fun raid, I miss it.

I've played 2 games now with the Eberron group and it's a lot of fun. We just cleared out a temple of the Dark Six which was hidden below a temple to the Sovreign Host. Now it looks like we'll be heading into the mournland. I don't actually know why because my character was off in a town getting healed at the time two other players were learning what was going on. The DM (my cousin) is doing a really good job with the morality blurring and stacking of mysteries upon mysteries flavor of Eberron. My halfling rogue is 3rd level now.

PAX was a lot of fun the year I went, which was its first year. I played dnd till 6am. If you're going, I'd reccomend signing up for some of the tournaments. Even if you don't win, I bet it would be fun; I wish I had participated more when I went. In other news, I just saw Taladega Nights, and I wish I hadn't. I feel more dumber having watched it.

I really liked watching Alien Hominid. That little guy is so cute and evil. =)

Kenny and I had a lot of fun playing Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory together during the co-op missions. I got us killed a lot, but I eventually picked it up and we had a good time with it.

Also, I think Kenny and I want to attend PAX next year. What a cool sounding convention.

Ooh! I'll ask my roommates. That's all they do. He plays - she watches.

I liked watching Final Fantasy games, but I could see how it's not for everyone.

Lego Star Wars was not only awesome to play, but hillarious to watch...

I'm trying to find a game that E'Lise would enjoy watching me play. When I was playing through Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines she really enjoyed watching. Are there other games like that that are fun to watch? Something that's not all action, has a cool story, and a cool (maybe creepy) world?
