Forgot to mention that at the circus Anna put her sword skills to good use to defend my honor. A clown behind my back was being goofy so she whacked him with a drum stick. It's nice to know someone has my back. She even brought me flowers. Sunflowers. I would have preferred straight cash but I love the thought.

I think I got her hooked on LOST now. While chasing Hobbes I ran my head into a screw in a wall. Now I've got a sore little bump. Sucks. When I die from tetanus or some crazy shit tell them to check the right side of my head. That's the cause of death right there. I have so much leftover spaghetti I can't even believe it. If this post is rambling blame the massive head injury. I fell light headed. Everything's growing dim...

At least 67 people, including dozens of looters siphoning gasoline from a government pipeline, were killed in an explosion late Monday night after fuel vapor was accidentally ignited by a cigarette lighter, the Iraqi police and government officials said... Lieutenant Rasheed said dozens of Diwaniya residents punctured the pipeline on Monday night... witnesses said that the spark that ignited the blast came from a man who used a lighter to check if his can was full.

How stupid can you get?

I don't know if I'm cut out for this univeristy thing. I have never had so much work from school before. 80 - 100 pages of reading a night. 3 10 page papers. Assignments. Presentations. Clubs. It's hectic. I'm already struggling...

And I got a hair cut.

That's awesome J, I wish I could play. I actually had an argument/discussion with the creator Keith Baker on the Eberron message boards today. He's great.

Went and saw the circus at the HP Pavilion. The cage with the motorcycles is the kewlest. I can't believe what they can train cats and birds to do. Adorable. It was Anna's birthday gift since I had to get her something that wasn't material. We had shaved ice, cotton candy, cracker jacks and got light up swords all for outrageously high prices but it was still fun. With a plastic toy sword Anna is a terror .... to innocent bystanders around us. She actually hit someone. It never deterred her though. I'll be generous and call that spirit. I went minimalist so I have no pictures from the circus itself but plenty of silly ones of Anna and I at my house afterwards. Good Times.

I finally made it into a DnD game, with my cousin and some of his friends. First game was last night and it was a ton of fun. I'm playing a halfling rogue, and its an Eberron Campaign which is exactly the setting I was hoping to play in. Good times.

Nope, not buying. Haven't seen it, know nothing about it, and I still pretty much don't watch TV.

We were playing Halo last night though - THAT was highly entertaining.

Veronica Mars Season 2 is out. I hope you all have plans to get it. You do have Season 1 don't you?

Oh and for god's sake do NOT buy a Gamecube! Why the hell would you do that? Xbox 360 has killer games coming down the pipe. If you're thinking of having it for social gatherings the Wii will blow it out of the water in that regard and is cheap at 250. The 360 has 4 controller ports just like the original Xbox. You are aware of Mass Effect right? It will be beyond awesome. Go check it out.
Just saying the GC is obsolete and you are forbidden from buying one! If you want one just get the Wii.

HEHEHEH! But that's the great thing and the reason I had to get you this game J! While I personally hate the Learn by Doing system it does mean that eventually your character can and probably will do anything and everything. My character was a fighter/mage/thief. Wizards are very viable if you play as a more magical race (Bretons or Altmer) and/or choose the apprentice or mage sign. Since any build can be a Wizard eventually you may want to choose this regardless to have that extra mana. Archery is a LOT of fun but spastic when you're in a big ass rumble. I hated when I'd hit some dumbass ally of mine who was in melee with a monster. Of course this happens with melee and magic too so what can ya do?

Also I fully recommend cheating. After awhile anyways. What I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend is to check a walkthrough and find out what quests dole out leveled loot and cheat your character level to like 30 (they always max out about here) and then edit it back down now that you've gotten the full item. Otherwise you should actually cheat to keep your level at about 18. Otherwise the all enemies scale to you thing gets REALLY ridiculous.

Oh and this isn't cheating but don't rest to level up until you've bought the max 5 skill increases. You can have certain people train up your skills but only 5 times per level. Always do this each level.

I haven't played in more than a month. Get online and check out the mods/plugins. There's literally hundreds. Most of them pretty awesome. I think there are mods that fix it so you won't have to do the cheating I suggested.

If you go spellcaster you'll want to set up plenty of hot keys. I highly recommend archery. Holding down the mouse and feeling (ok watching) that bowstring pull back and then letting go of the mouse to let that arrow fly and watch it zip into that enemy and SEE IT STICK THERE..... might be the most fun I had in that game. But like I said. There is no reason you can't do both.

If he's able to reserve a bunch of consoles and then the stores run out; there will be a demand for consoles even at a higher price. He won't be screwing the ones who are willing to pay more to have a console now, and you know there are people like that out there. Personally, I don't really care about consoles, and I'm just now finally thinking about getting a gamecube. PC 4 LIFE!!

Got the game Mike, thank you very much. Now I just need to get a cheap DVD drive so I can play it. What kind of character do you reccomend? I'm thinking a mage character- are those tough to play or viable? I imagine you went with some sort of fighter/thief?

I wasn't complaining it was expensive I just don't get why good games seem to come out at the same time with crap filling in all the time between. I asked for 5 vacation days from the 26th to the 31st of October before I even realized this. I just wanted Halloween off but it's going to be nice having those days off... :-D

Also I'm not so sure buying the 600$ dollar PS3 to sell for an even higher price is the best move currently. I don't know anyone going to pay 600$ for the PS3 at launch. They have almost no exclusive games lined up right now and what they do have won't be out for a long time. IF I get a PS3 which is an IF it will be much later. Still it has been an effective strategy with consoles before so it could work and I wish him luck. NO wait he is trying to screw fellow gamers for his own financial gain. Not Kewl. A pox on him.

Heh, you think three new games in one month is expensive? Try dating the guy who is buying 10 Playstation 3's when they come out. Talk about expensive. Granted he's gonna sell them, but holy crap...the guy is already 100k+ is debt because of school. He's just adding icing to the cake now...

I can HIGHLY recommend HL2 episode 1. But it's short. I'm interested in NWN 2, Bully and FF12 ALL coming out in October. What the hell is that about?

I got UT2K4, and I'm not sure I'm very happy with it. It's a very well done game, but the gameplay is so fast I can't keep up online. I haven't had much time to play games lately though, and its getting frustrating. I can accept that I shouldn't spend several hours every night on my comp, but I should be able to spend SOME time on it. Not to mention that I'm having withdrawl from WoW. I miss being totally engrossed in the game. I WAS that little warlock running around on the screen. I didn't even have to think about pressing keys to cast spells: I was so familiar with my key bindings that I just thought of a spell and it seemed to happen on its own. I realize that it's unrealistic to expect that to happen in a new game, but I still miss it. Plus I'm upset now that I spent money on a game I'm not going to play much. I'm still looking around for other games, and this is the updated priority list (roughly in the order I want to play them in):

Silent Hunter 3
Oblivion (once I get a DVD Drive)
Dawn of War
C&C Generals
Farcry
Rise of Nations
Worms World Party
Max Payne 2
HL2: Ep. 1
Thief series
Prince of Persia

No voodoo from me, Jason. Cheer up though, otherwise you'll make other people sad too. =P

Remember Mike, I can't take jokes? Kenny and I have actually started a fight or two over a joke he made that I took the wrong way. I REALLY can't tell. Just leave it at that and let me blush about it later.

I miss Mana. I mean, I didn't know her all that way, but I thought she was pretty neat.

I'm training someone at work today and I just don't have the time. It's LAME. But I do it anyway. And my lunch was too small, because I'm trying to stop gaining weight, (not lose, just stop gaining) but now I'm still hungry.

Oh well.

(Looks like I'm doing ZG again tonight. Panther Boss and awesome druid loot FTW!)

Mana apparently checks it from time to time. Otherwise nope. Not sure if that was the answer you wanted but that's the truth. I've had spontaneous moments of sudden lethargy/blues. I wouldn't worry about it unless you start to make a habit of it or it doesn't go away. I DO have a voodoo doll though. Anna gave it to me. Never used it on you though so no worries.

Today has been really weird. I went to Ft Lewis this morning and was feeling good, got a pair of new uniforms so I look snazzy, but all of a sudden an hour or so ago I started feeling depressed. It's like someone has a voodoo doll of me and poked a depression needle into my heart. I hope it was neither of you. Does anyone besides the BJ and the M read this blog anymore?

What do you mean, I never stop by? I read, I just don't have much to say. I'm really getting into WoW because I'm raiding now and it's new and exciting. I didn't want to put that in Jason's face.

New in my life? Uh...did I mention that I was promoted at work and now I make $12 an hour? Or that Kenny and I celebrated one year and six months in July? Or that I met the Goo Goo Dolls (yeah, everyone has heard it more than once)? Or that I'm getting ready to start school at SJSU?

I can't remember what I've said and not said. I started hanging with people outside of WoW last weekend. That was nice. Real life people are nice. I should make effort there.

Not much else to report. Oh Jason, Kenny says that he liked all the games on your list, except that he's never played Silent Hunter 3 and didn't play Civ IV, but he's played Civ III and liked it.

LOL! Are you serious? I checked before I mailed it?! Oh well you'll be getting another package then. I must have sent you my box instead of yours. I knew I shouldn't have kept them near each other.
And I can NOT believe you do not have a DVD-ROM! That is essential. Oh well. It will just sit around like FEAR and when you eventually upgrade you'll have something to immediately enjoy.

Unfortunately Hobbes has developed a taste for human blood that has become nigh unquenchable. I've had to resort to chopping up hobos, friends and family and throwing them in his food bowl. Sometimes I chain them in the closet and let Hobbes do the dirty work. What's my point? Brittany you never visit anymore.... Please stop by in the dead of night and tell no one where you are going. Toodles.

I played HL2 and loved it, and I'm eagerly awaiting the second episode with TF2 and Portals. Warcraft just doesn't fit my life anymore- I don't have 3-5 hour blocks of time to play anymore.

I played the Battlefield 2 demo a while ago, and it was pretty fun. I guess that's what I'm leaning towards right now.

The only game I own on that list is Civ 4. A fantastic game if you like the civ building game OR if you appreciate what modders can do to a game. I haven't played it in forever though since I can get my fix from the even more awesome Rome: Total War and Galactic Civilizations II. Hell maybe I could just send you my copy of Civ 4. I'm shocked you're trying to get out of WoW. Definitely need to find F.E.A.R and enjoy that though. Have you played HL2? Get that. I have heard fantastic things about Battlefield 2.
