Kenny and I were discussing your game problems and we going to look at games for you tonight, since I will actually be home tonight, but since you brought some up...

Unreal Tournament 2004 is probably the most amusing game on the list in my opinion. I've only played in a LAN situation, but was it was a laugh. I didn't need any real skill, though you can tell when pitted against those you do have skill, and graphics wise it reminds of me Halo.

Call of Duty is one of my least favorite games. However Kenny and my roommate Chris like it a lot. I'll ask them why they like it so much for you. I don't like it because I don't like war games.

Which is why Battlefield 2 is so interesting...I've never played it. But it's like watching a movie. The graphics are fantastic, the game play looks really smooth, and there are lots of fun things to do. I recomend playing with the helocopter and some point...

I'll get real opinions and info on these (and probably the other games too) and email you.

Enjoy!

I recently upgraded my PC to 2gigs of DDR RAM and I'm loving in. Of course, now that I can finally run the copy of F.E.A.R that Mike got me, I can't find it. I think I packed it, not expecting to have the hardware to run it any time soon. So now that I'm trying to get out of WoW, I need a new game to play. I've generated the following list and would appreciate any comments on the games:

(In no particular order)
Heroes of Might and Magic: V
Age of Empires III
Battlefield 2
Unreal Tournament 2004
Call of Duty 2
Civilization IV
Silent Hunter 3

Oh yeah, I have a blogger to read! I forgot.

I went to Comic Con in San Diego last weekend and it was most awesome. I saw so many things...Square Enix, SciFi, Spike, ToykoPop, Supreme Commander, artists, web comics, Nintendo, Blizzard, Adult Swim, and a BILLION other cool booths and things to look at. I came home with a giant bag full of free stuff and feeling completely geeked out.

I saw some stuff for "Snakes on a Plane", which is not my kind of movie, but Samuel L. Jackson was there and he is a very funny man. "GET THOSE MOTHER FUCKIN' SNAKES OFF MY MOTHER FUCKIN' PLANE!!" Good times.

I met the guys from Penny Arcade and my other favorite web comics. I bought art from my favorite fantasy artists. I got so much free manga it's unreal.

A totally awesome experience. I think I want to go again next year. The $65 membership fee was totally worth it.

What a great day! Lance Bass came out of the closet AND my insurance went down considerably. This is a fantastic start to my day off.

E'lise doesn't read or even know about this blog..... right? For your sake. ;-)

Then again maybe E'lise finds it hard to concentrate on her husband with so many masculine, well endowed men walking around glistening with sweat.

That came off a lot gayer than I expected.

E'Lise and I went to the beach at Lake Sammamish yesterday to swim because it's effing hot here (95ish). How is a guy supposed to concentrate on his wife when there are all sorts of beutiful young ladies with tight bodies walking around in skimpy swim suits? It's a challenge I tell you.

In WoW, my new guild raids almost every night, which is good, but I can only play 2-3 nights a week, which is bad. Oh well, hopefully I'll start getting some good gear soon. We only got to Magmadar (2nd boss) in MC last night because most people seem a little noob and we only had 33 people in a 40man instance. I miss my old guild on Tichon, but at least I'm with the people I know IRL now.

Transfered my warlock onto Gul'dan and joined a guild with some IRL friends there. Their guild is really short on druids, so I'm leveling one in between raids and such with my lock. I'm only lvl 7 and I'm having a lot of fun. Maybe I just like healing, but druid is more satisfying to play than my lock. Could be because I've put over 200 hours into the lock, but whatever.
