I've been trying to graduate. That is today, in my retarded emerald green cap and gown and gold honor cord. (chord?) But at least I'll have the degrees. I'm working on planning my massive road trip to Oregon, Washington, and Montana this week. Holy crap that is a lot of driving. Any ideas yet on whether or not you'll have time to hang out with friends before the big day, Jason? I need reserve the hotel room for Kenny and I SOON. I can't think. Oh! I got 60 on Monday night. I'm in a raiding guild, but it's sorta failing right now, so I think I'm gonna get out of it. I finally tired Battle Grounds and found I totally suck at PvP, so I've dueling people a lot for practice. And Baycon (the Sci-Fi con) is this weekend, so it looks like it's corsets and geeks for me. I need some time to sleep. Oi. posted by Anonymous 11:17 AM Wednesday, May 24, 2006 Awkweird. posted by Mikael, Shady, God 1:25 AM Monday, May 22, 2006 And I was doing so good at avoiding drama.... E'Lise and I invited a couple to the wedding who we had been double dating with and having a great time. They have since broken up and it was really messy, with anger and hurting on both sides. Now they can't be at the wedding together, and while we both like the girl a lot better, the guy thinks he and I are better friends than I think we are. So ditching him is the obvious answer, but I know it will be obvious we ditched him for her. I'm not sure how to tell him. posted by Jason 8:53 PM Sunday, May 21, 2006 This weekend was incredible. Friday afternoon/night was my cousin's bachelor party. We hit Gameworks (huge arcade in seattle), indoor paintballing, and then back to the best man's house for drinking and a private stripper. Unfortunatly the stripper was 45 minutes late and I only got to see 10 minutes of the show before my ride showed up, but oh well. Then last night was my party. We went paintballing (again), then went to a friend's place and ate Dick's burgers and shakes (please notice the lack of a comma after Dick's) while watching Showgirls. I've wanted to see that movie since I was in 5th grade, and it was even better than I was hoping as far as excessive nudity goes. Around 1030 we went to a strip club where I got 3 private dances and one dance on stage by 4 girls at once. Wow. Today was spent being lazy with E'Lise and playing a little bit of WoW. I should have done homework, but damn, what a weekend. posted by Jason 10:12 PM Friday, May 19, 2006 I have trouble believing it sometimes too. In only week I'll be going from an engaged undergrad cadet to a married, graduated Army officer. How far out is the wedding? 3 weeks? Yikes. posted by Jason 1:56 PM Thursday, May 18, 2006 Are you trying to screw with his head??? :) posted by Mikael, Shady, God 5:28 AM Wednesday, May 17, 2006 Jason, can you believe you're going to be a married man in a month?? posted by Anonymous 3:36 PM The Raconteurs website is brilliant. Would anyone like them? posted by Mikael, Shady, God 3:07 PM Friday, May 12, 2006 Beach. Nice. posted by Mikael, Shady, God 3:05 PM Thursday, May 11, 2006 I've managed to score access to really sleek and sexy convertible for Saturday, so I'm driving out to the beach. Hell yeah. I need some down time AWAY from my computer. posted by Anonymous 1:01 PM Friday, May 05, 2006 I've seen a lot of season one of LOST, but I'm too impatient to wait for new episodes of season two, so I'm waiting until my roommate gets it on DvD. I own seasons 1-4 of BTVS and I've finished all of them, while hooking all three of my roommates as well as my parents, but I'm waiting for money to get season 5. I have yet to see any of Angel except the episode where Buffy comes to visit in season one. I never EVER want to see another episode of Firefly. Sorry. I didn't do anything for me. And I was forced to watch it everyday for a month. Yuck. WoW still holds my attention in terms of media. Graduation has me busy for the next couple weeks. Having three degrees feels kinda nice. posted by Anonymous 12:11 PM Thursday, May 04, 2006 I forgot to mention today was also the end of an era. I got Anna hooked on Buffy about 3 years ago and tonight we finished season 7. As is always the case with the end of something beautiful it was particularly bittersweet. Anna and I did not watch every Buffy episode together for 3 years but we began it together and ended it together and that feels like something. And as is usually the case with the end of something it is merely the beginning of something even greater.....Angel. posted by Mikael, Shady, God 2:47 AM Who watches Lost because... HOLY FUCKING SHIT!? WTF!? WTF!? WTF!? WTF!? posted by Mikael, Shady, God 1:50 AM Monday, May 01, 2006 I've been inducted in a national honor society for communication majors called Alpha Gamma Chi Eta. At the ceremony, they surprised me and announced that I've also been awarded Student of the Year for communication studies at Ohlone College. The only one in my major with a 4.0. =) I'm just about to hit 57 and my guild is breaking apart to start a rading guild. It's stressful and exciting at the same time. And when they said "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas", they weren't kidding. I had a blast though. Never been so drunk in my entire life. posted by Anonymous 10:36 AM |
