Named after the creator, Mike, four most frequent posters, Brittany, Jason, Anna, Sarah and newest member Dorothy. archives Saturday, December 31, 2005 The haunted house is definitely a highlight of the game. Loved the hospital too. I love Clerks. posted by Mikael, Shady, God 1:24 PM Holy shit, Vampire the Masqurade: Bloodlines is an awesome game. I've never been so scared in a game as during the haunted house- its one of the best video game levels I've ever played. It took all my courage to leave the lights off. Caramba. posted by Jason 12:35 AM Wednesday, December 28, 2005 Steve Young came into our store for a prescription on Christmas. "Songs to have sex to" would be the best name for an album ever. If it hasn't already been used. To my surprise I did not spend Christmas alone and go to work. I ate lunch/dinner at Anna's grandparents with Anna and her family. I liked her Great Aunt? (I think thats what she was) Maybe it was because my gift just rocked so hard. Diamond earrings apparently go over very well even when the diamonds are not so high quality. Good to know. My Tuesday the 27th Christmas was wonderful. I got the Casio EXILIM S-600 even though it's not officially out in the US yet. My Mom is surprising. I got my mother and sister hooked on LOST. When I left today they were still watching it. I ate a LOT of delicious food that was NOT even slightly healthy for me and took a lot back home to Fremont with me including my stocking full of candy. And we have long stockings. No I will not share. I might trade. Mana got me the Family Guy movie. Unfortunately I already had it but I like where her head was at. Hobbes is going to get his nuts chopped off soon. Hope this blog satisfies those few that still read it. posted by Mikael, Shady, God 6:09 PM Saturday, December 24, 2005 Happy Christmas guys. For some reason, it doesn't strike me as so awful this year. I miss you guys. I hope you're all having a wonderful time. (And damn, I want a Nintendo DS. Really want.) posted by Anonymous 10:38 PM Work is insane and sure to only get crazier. Io Saturnalia! posted by Mikael, Shady, God 3:22 PM Friday, December 23, 2005 Dorothy Lee drunk called me today. She's becoming quite the lush. :-) posted by Mikael, Shady, God 2:56 AM Thursday, December 22, 2005 I am a Fremont Bank teller now. I've been doing this for two days. It's pretty intense and a lot to deal with, especially with all the confidentiality, but I like it. My days are sorta boring though. Work. Dinner at my parents. Video games/watching Buffy/internet until I'm tired. Although, I did finally take advantage of my 21 and over on Tuesday night. My roommates and I all went out to Dave and Busters and I ended up pretty tipsy. I had a scooby snack, I finished a Lava Flow, a Aquarita Margarita, and a Purple People Eater. I also bought everyone that came a shot glass of their choice. I got a martini glass. I've decided that I like any drink as long as it's in a martini glass. Those things are fun. Otherwise, I'm boring. I'm going to Fresno on Christmas day though. That should be interesting... posted by Anonymous 7:58 PM I forgot to mention that yesterday I also discovered to my absolute joy the Chinese restaurant Ho Chow's is delicious and about 2 minutes away. It's going to be a struggle not to eat Chinese every day. posted by Mikael, Shady, God 2:57 AM Wednesday, December 21, 2005 I got that day beat. Dorothy's christmas gift was a theme gift and the theme was courage. All day I dragged her around making her do stuff she would never have done on her own because she was too afraid without my "making her" to give her an excuse. Haircut, manicure, pedicure, a skirt and some shoes. Those were the main points. She looked good and you can ask Anna for verification, who incidentally finally got me my birthday gift (2 funny t-shirts one of which is absolutely perfect for me) and threw in a Christmas gift (A voodoo doll & instructions. Watch Out!) since she came with us around 9 to City Beach. Here's where stuff get's really interesting. I wanted Dorothy to get drunk but not TOO drunk. Just a good amount of buzzed. And we needed to do it fast so we both drank two shots of tequila. Which I didn't think was too bad after the lime which proved very effective. Dorothy is very drunk after about 5 minutes. Stumbling, tripping falling. Talking crazy and most entertaining of all... calling people. She called myself, Brandon, Renee, Tim Cao and possibly 1 or 2 other people. Anna and I made sure to get a number of pictures of her antics. At one point her mother called since it was after 12 which she was sober enough to be freaked out about but I think she managed to be convincingly not drunk with her. I wrapped things up and rushed her home. It was a great day. If she remembers any of it she'll definitely say the same. And I will get my hands on those pictures. Details are available if you talk to me directly. posted by Mikael, Shady, God 1:19 AM Tuesday, December 20, 2005 Just got back from my first visit to a strip club. It was a lot of fun, but the dancers were actually a little dissapointing. We actually went to play pool, but we went down to the stage for 2 dancers. If you put a dollar on the bar, they focus on you for a bit, which should be pretty cool. But all the first one would do is spread her legs (unfortunatly I'm a boob guy) and the second one wasn't terribly hot. Oh well, I had fun playing pool, and since there was no cover, I got to play some pool and see some boobs. I can't ask for much more than that. posted by Jason 7:44 PM Monday, December 19, 2005 Breaking Benjamin: Blow me away Halo 2 soundtrack Video game music rocks. posted by Mikael, Shady, God 8:45 AM Sunday, December 18, 2005 Finally a pure day. And a good one to boot. And one of the most hated employess at work was fired. Woot! He won't be missed. I found out another guy where I work bought his engagement ring online and he wasn't even sure exactly what his girlfriend wanted in an engagement ring AND he found the ring through a spam email. It was entertaining and everyone made sure to look at him like he was crazy. Because he obviously is. Got a good number of holiday card orders which means PMs for me. That's a bonus cash amount for selling certain products. And it is almost the 20th. Guess there's nowhere to really go but down. posted by Mikael, Shady, God 12:57 AM Friday, December 16, 2005 Another yo-yo of a day. I got Firefly back thanks J. But you didn't need to express it. Though it is appreciated. Whoever is behind those"commercials" on the radio whining about satellite radio needs to be shot. It's insane. Is FM radio really THAT scared of satellite? Imagine if TV networks ran ads saying cable and satellite wanted to rip you off? posted by Mikael, Shady, God 1:00 AM Thursday, December 15, 2005 I'm done with school. Thank god. I'm sitting at my last day of work at the box office. How I won't miss it. We're looking at 4 bedroom houses. Yay moving? I've been playing Animal Crossing lately. That's a mildy amusing game. I logged into WoW a few times week, but no one was on and that made me sad, so I logged off after checking my mail. I have to start Christmas shopping SOON. Ugh. Everyone around me is sick. And I ran into Julia again. At her work. She said hi and then was nowhere to be found. *shrug* posted by Anonymous 1:38 PM I'm back to playing my druid. I'm at 29, and I'm going to keep running Warsong Gulch until I can buy the PvP trinket there. posted by Jason 7:43 AM I'm never more productive than when I feel empty. posted by Mikael, Shady, God 5:27 AM Wednesday, December 14, 2005 Fuckidol is a great name for a drug. I keep forgetting to change my gooddamn voicemail. I have got to remember to do it tomorrow. posted by Mikael, Shady, God 11:57 PM Tuesday, December 13, 2005 Continuing the recent and infuriating trend of good fortune mixed with bad my repaired computer was delivered today and dropped by the delivery guy on his way up the walkway. I didn't see the trip but it must have been a hell of a fall because he busted and bent quite a bit of the tower in some really crazy ways. It works though... obviously. But I'm pissed. I have the cd with the images and I will be putting them back on my computer along with a lot of other information as you can probably imagine. God I have missed the world. It's good to feel connected again. In interesting news Anna is in Fremont for the next 6 months or so. Itis for financial reasons and she is working at Borders. I am super excited about the discount. Woot. Also my christmas shopping is complete. Now comes wrapping and mailing. posted by Mikael, Shady, God 3:06 PM Sunday, December 11, 2005 She was at Ohlone. It just...I dunno. I'm not even really mad at her anymore, but things are weird. Not purposely, they just are. We really slashed each other up over someone we both really cared about. And I lost a lot of respect in her. I'm sure her thoughts of me were less than wonderful too. It's just that way. We were civil. I just mentioned your engagement. She talked like you and her were old chum - talking all the time on AIM. I couldn't say the same, so I "hmm"ed. What else could I do? For a moment there, I was back in high school fighting for you attention with her. It just wasn't worth it. Anyway, I raved about E'Lise. She mentioned Mike's visit and that was kind of the end of the story. I'd seen her at Ohlone before, but hadn't really bothered talking to her. The first time I saw her, she stared at me and then walked by like I was invisible, so I didn't feel any urge to make ammends. I guess I'm back to nowhere with that. Whatever. I stress enough over everything else. posted by Anonymous 1:47 AM Saturday, December 10, 2005 Why was it weird to see Julia? What did she say? posted by Jason 9:04 AM Thursday, December 08, 2005 I saw and spoke with Julia the other day. That was...awkward and interesting. Hm. I've pushed too hard with the end of the semester. I'm all dead tired. But today is the las day of classes. I perform a lot this weekend, but I can handle it. I'm sleeping a lot tonight and getting sushi tomorrow, so all should be good. I'm just glad school will be out. I SO need a break. Ugh. posted by Anonymous 2:49 PM Friday, December 02, 2005 I got the job at Fremont Bank!! $10.34 an hour, 20 hours a week, and they will work around my school schedule. Finally something goes my way! posted by Anonymous 3:51 PM |
