I just finally got internet again, after moving out of the dorms and into an apartment with E'Lise. Getting the internet here was a 3 week battle with the ISPs. Anyway, now I'm back to WoW and regular email access, which is very nice. I'll be leaving for FT Lewis next tuesday and staying away from home for the next 2 months. That kinda sucks. We forsook a game of risk since it was just the two of us and played what I thought was a casual game of boggle. Turns out she was keeping score which probably had a lot to do with her winning. She had to scamper off at 9 for a phone date with Jason III. I was creeped out to learn they can call each other over three times a day sometimes. Maybe it's just me though. I really dislike the phone. Vengeance for these trangressions was mine however once she gazed upon the madness that is my dvd/video game rack. As her fragile mind sought (as all minds do) to find some amount of order or pattern to my madness she was wracked with pain as she found herself lost in the fathomless chaos of it. Bad movies mixed with good ones. Sequels without the originals. TV boxed sets that are a hodgepodge of different seasons with no discernible order. VHS tapes with no vcr. I had hoped arranging them alphabetically would help the mind cope with it but alas it seems to have done nothing to alleviate the suffering it can cause the unwary. For this reason you must all send me DVDs so I can round out my collection. posted by Mikael, Shady, God 12:58 AM Friday, June 03, 2005 So apparently there is another beach thing happening on Monday, June 13. This means a major time crunch for me because this is two days before I leave for Europe. The weekend before is also INSANELY busy. And I work that day, but maybe I'll sit through traffic to see the sun go down or something. I'm not too excited about the notion of mini high school reunions and frats boys, but I can always go do my own thing. Or something. We shall see. Newest addiction: STARCRAFT. I love love love love it. I'm not so great yet, but I'm going through the story mode (per boyfriend's request) and learning as I go. All I want to do is play this game. And I have to leave it for a month and a half in a week or so. Kill me now. I'm about half through Lufia II. I'm trying to get through it before I leave, but with all this scheduling madness, it's hard. I was promoted to manager at the Box Office. I see a nice big raise for this in August. Sweetness. I'm an aunt twice over! My newphew, Spencer Theodore, was born a couple weeks ago. He's a cutie.
