I met someone. =) Actually, I met him a few weeks ago, but we hit it off and now one could say we're offical. Nifty. And no, Mike, you cannot fight him. I know you'd win. You know you'd win. I mean hell the sun causes cancer. Since it is not known what exactly causes cancer it means that pretty much anything has a chance that it might be carcinogenic. How carcinogenic it is is the real question. And that does sound dumb. Why the fuck do butterflies need trees? And those dumb asses don't they realize water is unlimited. HEHEHE stupid morons. How big is the damn ocean. And it's not like our population continues to grow by the millions further straining the freshwater supply....OH wait. And what kind of wussy cant handle a little mercury and PCB in their seafood. Makes them tastier. posted by Mikael, Shady, God 12:26 PM Im tired of these stupid environmental books. First we had to read Changes in the Land. It was about the colonists coming to america and cutting down more trees so that butterflies had not habitat to live in. BULLSHIT. Next came Cadillac Desert this book was about how much water we use and how were going to run out and turn into a desert. Now were reading Living Downstream about how every chemical created after DDT is carcinogenic. Apparently the addative that makes the plastic in water bottles flexible is carcinogenic. Shellfih and fish from the bay has high levels of mercury, DDT and PCB's and were all going to die at the age of 35 from breast, testicular, or skin cancer. this is the most depressing class ive ever taken posted by Anonymous 12:07 PM it seems like in my french class the only way to do well is to already know french. this is kinda challenging since its THE FIRST FUCKING LEVEL OF FRENCH OFFERED!!!!!!!! posted by Jason 10:15 AM I'm officially 19. "oh shit that guys got an axe!" used to be scary, and they could just walk around with an axe, make afunny face and the audience would wet themselves. now movies have to startle you, and you have to know youre going to be startled, so that youre anticipating it and getting more and more anxious about it until it actually happens. suspense is what sells now as opposed to weird back in the day. posted by Jason 11:20 PM penny arcade? why I have always held that this (http://www.penny-arcade.com/view.php3?date=2002-05-06&res=l) and this (http://www.penny-arcade.com/view.php3?date=2002-05-07&res=l) are by far the best ever. posted by Anonymous 10:06 PM http://www.penny-arcade.com/view.php3?date=2002-08-05&res=l posted by Jason 7:42 PM lol, iskipped calculus fro the 4th time in a row today. wow isnt that amazing, at this very moment i am missing improper integrals. yipee posted by Anonymous 12:19 PM Me and Blogger have even worse emotional baggage than Sarah and Matt. Brat I am an awesome driver and I dont get pulled over for going fast because Im good enough to pull it off AND go down to a 75(which almost no officer on earth unless its a speed trap would pull you over for) so just keep an eye out. Explorer status may help me if Im ever pulled over in Menlo but today I have to go pay $103 for a ticket I got from a Fremont cop in September for having my high beams on (which by the way sucks when it is 1 am and you see TWO other cars the whole time). I think it is because I blinded the officer(which isnt really fair since he was sitting in an SUV on the corner with his lights off so I didn't realize till after he had pulled me over that the SUV on the corner was him) The funny part is Menlo has no SUV's so I only see them at police car shows and I just cannot think of them as patrol cars. So he turned on his lights and got behind me but I wasnt thinking clearly and because the light bar is so high on those I thought it was an ambulance at first and moved to the left to let it past, only to see the lightbar move right behind me and then I realized there was no siren and thats because It was a dun dun dun...Police car. Doh! posted by Mikael, Shady, God 1:06 AM Monday, October 21, 2002 In an effort to further put off my reading, I'm going to tell you guys about the coming out dance. It's like THE big deal event here, every year october is coming out month. qvc (queer variety coalition) has all sorts of events, culminating in the coming out dance, which everyone goes to. What basically happens is everyone shows up half dressed (or naked- but apparently there werent as many naked people this year as years before) and drunk or high or whatever, and makes out with a bunch of people they barely know. the more interesting things I saw were people snorting coke at a table (it was in the dining hall- I dont know if i can ever look at it the same way again,) a blowjob at the table over, and a girl I know who's a hardcore lesbian making out with some guy for 20 minutes, It's all scandal. I have friends who kissed upwards of 40-50 different people that night. The best part is... it's a school sanctioned activity. People are literally having sex on the dance floor and the school's paying for the music and everything that made it happen. I don't think it's anything that can be accurately described with words, so here's a page with pictures from last year. http://ikeepadiary.com/diary/2001/sarah_lawerence/ my school is weird. posted by Anonymous 11:48 PM nates home on leave. i saw him online, and hes back to his old self. There is disipline (Military bearing), how good you are at your job, and appearance. Just to name a few. ayseufspadz: ya, thats the navy for ya Arcturis47: Well, it is the same for all military. For advancement exams I have to read a think encyclopedia type book called the Basic Military Requirements (BMR Manual). You habe to know everything in that book. Arcturis47: Other services can't. ... Arcturis47: You can't you have to stay at the hotel. ayseufspadz: what do you mean about a hotel Arcturis47: That is where you stay because you can't go to the beach and swim. ayseufspadz: why cant i Arcturis47: You might be able to but you'd never quite swim as well as a Navy person. Eh, whatever. I'm liking this lack of judgementalism at UCSC, who cares about image. The lack of greek-ness is awesome. Im tired of those shallow cliques anyways. Buy-a-friend is incredibly overrated. The frats here are so much better than what ive heard of SF state and UCD. Theyre not about that closed off attitude. If youre not pledged, they dont care, they give you a cup anyways. Its all about the social agenda. If you filter people, you have a higher chance of filtering those who would most likely be beneficial to it. I have nothing against SJSU, its a great school, perhaps if people werent so concerned with image and status like they were in high school, it would be more fun. posted by Anonymous 1:17 PM i fell this morning during the run for pt. not bad at all, just scraped the hands and knees, but the funny thing is that instead of asking if i was ok, the sgt. major yells at me for not picking my feet up. good 'ol army :- ) posted by Jason 9:54 AM Grr. And ANYONE would look like a wuss next to you Mike, since you're such a jerk. I can miss Sarah and not miss you because feel abused after I've spent time with you and I don't after I spend time with Sarah. And besides, I wasn't sure if you liked me coming over after choir practice...is that still okay? I liked coming to see you. And Jason, if you have email so that Mike knows, please help out and tell me what Mike is up to. =) Oh, here is my thing for today. I got my first ticket this evening. CARAMBA! And what pisses me off is that Mike, who is an insane and crazy driver, but knows better, AND is an Explorer, can get away with it, but when I, a pretty conservative driver, am in a slight rush, going 80mph on 880, I get pulled over. 80mph isn't even that fast for 880. But, I can say that I took it well. I didn't flirt or cry. I just accepted it and went on. But I can say that I didn't go a hair over 65mph the rest of the way home. I hate that. Now I have to go to traffic school. Freakin' A. *sigh* posted by Anonymous 1:43 AM San Jose sucks... except for the good mexican restaurant i went to last night. The area surrounding SJSU has nothing to offer. Tried to find a decent club, most were crappy ones with no dancing and a bunch of ugly 40 year olds who tried to stray away from their normal mundane life spent at home mastrubating to either the victoria secret catalouge or a CK ad in Vanity Fair. Next came the party endeavour. I swear that people are freaks there, what kind of school has parties on a frikin thursday? Apparently thats when all of them happen. It would probably be lame ass greek party or sumthin. We just ended up eating at this mexican restaurant and bouncing. UCSC has so much more to offer. Enough school bashing. At this very instant, my hair is turning from black to blonde. I felt like bleaching it so i did. Its been in for over an hour now. I should wash it out. I've come to the realization that life goes on... It seemed like i moped around all summer in the thought that my life would never be the same after high school, only to realize that i have nearly forgotten everything that held me in fremont. Its like a paradigm has shifted and now the former is dead, mourning is complete and now i am dead to those who used to love me. posted by Anonymous 12:01 AM Sunday, October 20, 2002 Aw Shit. It's like Eminem says, you gotta be kicking ass in the morning and taking names in the evening. Oh and here is what you are going to do about the names Brat. When referring to the "other" Mike you will simply call him either loser, Jason II, Mike II, Mick, Mickey, Michelle, Mikey or your bf. Unfortunately a lot of unworthy people have my first name. One day though these people will be eliminated. MWHAHAHAHAHAHA. And please tell me loser is insecure about being shorter than you. I intend to prey on that. (chuckles evilly, and does the Mr. Burn's finger thing) Let us see. Jason II is a geek, similar height, "gentleman aka wussies", tell me more they're looking pretty similar so far. P.S. Wait, huh? When did my Mike get so damn involved here? First of all, I never said Jason was any better or worse than this guy. I never even compared them, except maybe to say that again, I like a guy that is a little shorter than I am. But um, I kinda hope that Mike does meet you(other Mike)...I don't even want to know what you'd say or do...something to make me look bad I'm sure. I can't even say Mike M. because both of you have last names that start with M. Arg. And Jason, Sarah is right, and gold stars aren't so bad. Just cheesy, on my part. Really, you could have any sticker you want. ;) I'm trying to think. I don't know this Mike as well as I know Jason, and even then, I couldn't get anyone Jason's life story, so I think this comparison thing is lame. From what I do know, my Mike is a bigger computer geek...err...in common...they both have the gentlemen thing that I adore. But the height thing, isn't even the same. I think Jason is a little taller than this Mike. Jason could stand on tip toe and be a little taller than I am...I think. Its been a while since the debate was had. Anyways, Mike, I say don't worry about my Mike. Jason, be amune to jerks. Sarah, you're wonderful, and I miss you. We really should get together some time. Oh Mike, did Dedra say anything about me? posted by Anonymous 9:22 AM Yeah, Yeah in a perfect world Sarah. In a perfect world. For example if this guy lived nearby he'd be my new best friend. I feel we're on the same wavelength. http://www.fleetmack.com/~maddox/irule.html (seriously it is hilarious) Also lemme just say that I will simply add this to the already enormous list of how my friendship has benefited you. Please, Please no need for thank you's. Oh wait screw that give me a damn thank you unlike some people Ill admit I want the damn attention for my good deeds. Enlightened self-interest! Oh and you should have gone straight over and just beat the shit out of this guy and then made up some excuse if anyone asked. At least one of the girls would have been attracted to you for A. being a "bad" boy and B. showing that you're physically capable. Or you can setlle for Brat's gold star......Yeah easy choice. I guess I better go to school at ....Seattle U?. It looks like you still need me. (shakes head) Oh and Brat I told you nothing was up I was just screwing with you. Oy. I was hoping to make it til Janurary before getting into another relationship, but that probably won't end up being the way it is. Oh well. Busy busy busy. Must get back to pretending to do homework. posted by Anonymous 4:56 PM it feels like tuesday. why cant it be tuesday? posted by Jason 4:48 PM Beer's gross Matt, get some class. posted by Anonymous 2:58 PM On any given day you can find a party here....Because of the teacher's strike, a few of my friends and i decided to go to one last night, and it was awesome. A nice huge Keg, and a community bong, could you ask for anything more? Than a Mug. posted by Anonymous 12:57 PM Fiiiiiiiiiiinaaaaaaaaaaally! THE MIKE HAS COME BACK TO FREEEEEEEEMOOONT! I want to see about 10 different movies, and judge people at school and I dont want to go to work but I will. And Brat it's no big deal I only really cared about Firefly and luckily for me it was exempted that friday. posted by Mikael, Shady, God 9:04 AM Saturday, October 12, 2002 No Mike, I do not have John Doe or Firefly in tivo. If you want to me catch something like that in the future, tell me a day in adavnce so that I can record it. Then I will be able to save it. Now, for my really exciting news...I have the internet on my personal computer!! And it is so much faster than the other computer. =) I may have lost all chances at having a real life as of now... posted by Anonymous 12:00 PM I shall try... posted by Anonymous 8:49 AM Friday, October 11, 2002 Hey Brat If you happen to have John Doe or Firefly on TiVo and can keep them on there till I see them you can forget tic tacs, a birthday gift everything. That'd be enough. I didnt get to see them tonight. posted by Mikael, Shady, God 9:47 PM Awwww...I can't go to October fest. =( Sue got really sick and Jeremy isn't feeling well either. Hey Jason, COME TOMORROW! =) I know you can't, but you will be missed. I thought to myself...HEY! Meghan goes there!. ....Yeah.... Well T/C. posted by Mikael, Shady, God 11:11 PM Tonight is thursday night, which is, (almost officially) Party Night. I'm not sure why Thursday but I don't complain because Thursdays can be very fun around here. Tonight however I'm staying in because I have two papers due tomorrow, and I think it might be interesting to go to my 9 o clock class fully rested, refreshed, and completely free of the influence of alcohol for once. There's always next week. Anyway, enough of this finding more ways to procrastinate thing. Type type. posted by Anonymous 8:13 PM scoff...whateva, i do what i want.... Than a mug. Gotta go now, girl down the hall calls posted by Anonymous 11:53 PM So did everyone go see "Red Dragon" yesterday? Or are we waiting til Mike gets back from LA? Either way, I will somehow see it. I haven't seen a new movie since "Reign of Fire," which I saw when Jason was down here, to give you an idea. I am in need of a good flick...and it just so happens I love the Hannibal Lector story line. he he...even Mike doesn't get that one. posted by Anonymous 12:53 PM hey! look! it's 3:30 in the morning in new york. I'm up, writing a paper. See we don't have tests here, but we have papers. And I have discovered that I am sincerely physically unable to do work unless it's the very absolute complete last minute to do it. I really just can't do it. Bad thing? Maybe. posted by Anonymous 12:34 AM Monday, October 07, 2002 Why? Err...I'll email you. As long as you email me back. posted by Anonymous 6:15 PM brit i turned off AIM at like 930. why were you up till 1? posted by Jason 10:05 AM Sunday, October 06, 2002 Sunday is bad. I am on my way out the door to San Fran to go to the aquarium for my biology project that is due while I will be in Mexico. When are you getting back, Mike? I might have more money by then, since all I need now is about $200 more to break even with my car...my debt can wait another pay check. I was up too late last night...what was that? 1am? All that for one boy. *sigh* he he...oh well. Jason, get a life. ;) Just kidding. Well, I gotta run! Only have three hours. Ta! posted by Anonymous 1:59 PM grr... all my computer games are letting me down. none of the ones i want to play will run on my computer. could the morale of this story be that i need to stop trying to escape reality and go live life? nah, thats rediculous. *laughs* i think this must be one of those try harder and dont loose hope morales. posted by Jason 12:45 PM Saturday, October 05, 2002 I'll see Red Dragon. How about Sunday before I leave? Maybe like before 2 so its matinee..then again it seems like one of those movies u really should see at night. Eh...SO yeah call and invite me if you go Sunday. And Jason no way would I delete a whiney post. How would I razz you without ammunition? posted by Mikael, Shady, God 8:18 PM My car is back from the dead!! And I changed my oil while I was playing with gasoline and the air filter. Let me tell you, gas is not fun to have on your face...really, anywhere, but the face is the most annoying. And oil is the same thing. Gross. But my car is happy again and I got to wash my hands with the mechanics "orange" soap, which is my favorite part, other than being able to drive my own car again. Now to get it smogged... posted by Anonymous 2:21 PM Friday, October 04, 2002 Mrs. CK says hello to everyone. Oh and Mr. Madsen says hello too. Jason, I may actually send your yearbook next week...maybe. Depending on how much of my pay check is used up. I am beginning to repair my car this afternoon...caramba! posted by Anonymous 1:38 PM I hated war ball. I always got hurt. But hey, that's expected. Sarah...I could go tonight, but since you can't lets not. Tomorrow is bad because my best friend is spending the night and I have work. Does anyone else wanna go? posted by Anonymous 11:40 AM pussy huh? fine, no more whining from me about being sore or tired. my arms dont hurt anymore anyway. if an admin sees a post from me with whining about rotc or classes, please delete it. this morning i went out to the shower with just a towel and my shower bag. i didnt have my key or my card for the elevators. so after the shower, since i dont want to wake my roommate who i know had a late night, i go downstairs to the lobby to get a key from the front desk. but its like 730 and apparently the desk doesnt open till 8. so i have to wait around in my towel for someone to come down the elevators who can card me back up (you can get to the lobby w/o a card but thats it). so i decide ill have to wake my roommate. i knock on the door for like 5 minutes and no response. apparently he had a later night then i thought. so i have to go wake the RA, but ive kinda gotten to know her and shes cool so it wasnt that bad. but ya, i hope this isnt an omen for how my day is going to go when this afternoon i leave for Ft Lewis with the ROTC folk. oh ya, this morning we played war ball for PT. it was crazy! in highschool theres like 20-30 guys who know how to play and everyone else just kinda stands around and gets hit. in rotc, everyone is a fucking ALLSTAR at that game!! nontheless, somehow i did better than i ever did in highschool. go figure. aye. posted by Jason 7:48 AM I'm on my way to school and I think I will visit IHS this afternoon. I have nothing better to do, except for my math homework. I now remember why I hate math. The damn formulas. Oh and percents. I have major issues with percents. Any question with a % sign in it, I skip. I can change them from percents to decimals and vice versa no problem, but finding the percent of some number with this variable and that whatever-that-other-thing-is-called is something I cannot grasp. Arg. Well, I have one class today because my english was changed into "conference hours." I love those. Basically, I don't have to show up. =) I go from 8-8:50 and then I can come home. SO COOL. Yay!! Oh oh oh...okay, any of you who know about me and movies in theaters might be a little intimidated...but, I really want to see "Red Dragon." Anyone else interested?? posted by Anonymous 7:16 AM Thursday, October 03, 2002 he he...Mike. I don't whine...much. Yeah right. Well, one thing about today I love is that I am having a GREAT hair day. That's the least important thing of greatness though. I was invited to California's honor choir this afternoon. That is one of the highest honors as a student in choir. I have always wanted to be part of it and I never quite made the cut in previous years and this time, I was invited! Its going to be held right before my birthday in San Deigo. Maybe I will see the Goo Goo Dolls again. :) (They will have a concert the night before I leave for Mexico and I will already be in the LA area...so...why not?!) So, there is the going to Mexico thing. I'm very excited about that now. Also, I get internet on my computer next week. That should be very cool. I get my first pay check in two weeks...much needed. And I am going to see LA BOHEME, which is a musical production of an opera (so it will geared like "Phantom of the Opera" singing wise), and is also produced by Baz Luhrman, who was the director of Moulin Rouge! YAY!!! The whole cast is young people, like, our ages. It should be a good show. So...that is all my exciting news. I better get going. I will be late to work. Oh, Mike, sure. Recreate the blog site and renvite. Aye! Ta! posted by Anonymous 3:30 PM Wednesday, October 02, 2002 posted by Mikael, Shady, God 11:48 PM I'm finally feeling better. I was so sick. But now I'm on my feet again. My car is still dead, but I'll fix it sometime soon. I'm enjoying my dad's stereo for now. And he gets better gas mileage. Life is too expensive, I've decided, but I don't mind. Its my life and I feel like I am the one who shaping the way I'll turn out in the end. Work is...stressful. I have a feeling I am going to end up as an assistant manager in a few months. All the employees just walked out for various reasons. The ones left are very cool. Everyone gets along and always have a good laugh. School has been intense. I'm there a lot more than I used to. I spend more time outside of class doing stuff for the school requirements. I haven't really made any new friends because I already know a bunch of people. I have people from IHS in two of my classes. But in my choir class, I am with the parents of the students that went to IHS. WEIRD. Oh well. The most exciting thing in my life is that I FINALLY got my computer up and running. Its name is Marvin, from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, for all the trouble it caused me. I love it. Its so much faster than the one I am on right now. I can't wait to get hooked up to the internet. The only problem is that my web cam doesn't turn off, so I have to turn it towards the wall at night so I can sleep and get ready for school in the morning. Well, I'm off to school AGAIN. For the last time today, thank goodness. Sarah, we should get together and do some easy going stuff. Like...a movie or talking over some warm drink since it is so damn cold and windy today...something. I'll see if I can get a hold of you. Jason, YIKES! Hope that craziness gets better soon.
